I saw that article about the M5 concept this morning. The new 5er looks much better than the one just replaced, but I'm still very partial to the E39 5 series. I had a 2003 530i and to this day regret getting rid of it.

Yes, that is an issue for concern. However, how is this relevant to gay rights? Despite the birth rate in the UK being around 2 (1.96 if I remember correctly) there are, sadly, plenty of children/babies in need of a good home. Recently, the law was changed to ensure homosexuals would be able to adopted children if they want. Lesbian couples could also ask for a donor, and gay couples for a surrogate.
We need to move beyond the idea that marriage is about a man and a women reproducing. Firstly, it isn't about that. Secondly, there is no reason same-sex couples can't raise just as many children as heterosexual couples.

It's not. Risky male to female sex is also excluded (sleeping with anyone involved in the sex industry). It's a question of exposure to mixing blood, and thus communicating disease. Statistically, Male to Male sex increases that risk...

Its not the same thing. If there was no bigotry behind the question it would be raised this way to all, no matter what orientation "have you had unprotected sex with more than one partner in the last 5 years, if yes have you been tested for HIV?"

I think we should try to keep the software listed here just to what�s flat-out free. Perhaps if someone wants, we can start a second thread to the tune of ��Not Exactly Free, But Worth It!� Software.� As a general rule, any software with a trial period isn�t free, so we should probably keep it out of this thread in order to keep with the thread�s theme. (And BTW � this isn�t directed at anyone in particular.)

Hi. I need to set up a poll in Digital Photography to select topics for a new critique thread, the Fortnightly Challenge. I want each user to be able to vote for his/her top three from a list of twenty or more suggestions. Can this be done or are polls limited to one vote per viewer?

ARG!!!!! 2G iPod Shuffle NOT in Stores On Friday!!!!!!!!
So I stopped by one of the apple stores in town today on my way to work. and well there were NO iPod shuffles in!!!! (but i missed the fact that there were 8GB red nanos, though i doubt they actually had any in stock!!) The guy working at the apple store said they 'might' be in by this afternoon or evening and they will 'hopefully' have enough stock to make it through the weekend, but 'there was a chance' that they wouldnt have any by sunday.

I was using exaggerations too emphasise the opinion that I think there is a double standard here, if the OP was staying at a friend's house there is as much trouble he could get himself into there as there is at the GF's house, however his parents wouldn't think twice about letting him stay at his friends place would they?

I had the same problem earlier this week. I'm running 4.3.2 and downloaded Clear Folder Themes from Cydia and it worked great. Hope this helps.

Apple know Vista's been coming for years, so they'll have Leopard ready. They've been working on the iPhone since before Tiger, so it's not like their R+D is suddenly going to drop in Mac development.
All of this 'what about the Mac' stuff is a little harsh. If Steve's got an Octo-Core Mac Pro coming in a few weeks, then he's not going to say so now.
Also, if Leopard isn't ready yet, and will be out in a few months, then not mentioning it is an awesome mind game. Bill gates was propbrably watching going "Uh...but- Vista and, err... what?"
Just have faith.
If nothing's changed in three months then quote me and pelt me with rotten fruit.
