I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
Why? Even though Intel is faster right now, AMD still makes fine chips.

Suggestion:
Have it show who plus'ed you and who neg'ed your each post.
I've seen it implemented in other forums, or just allow a thank you button type of thing, no negative option allowed please.
People have the cojones to neg you anonymously, but if their name was attached to the negative rep/karma, whatever you wish to call it, it would be a vastly different story.
Otherwise I'm for the removal of this seemingly annoying feature, faceless jerks can team up to negative rep your posts, and before you know it its war to neg' each other.
EDITHow long are you going to test this before 'it is permanetly tossed in favor a better, less abusable alternative'?

Can't believe it's been 10 years. I had my iMac G3 running OS 9 and didn't evenknow about OS X until I visited a friends house, who had the same iMac running OS X. Ill never forget how blown away I was, and that first look was truly the first look at everything that still makes Macs great today.

ok, now i can go back to best buy. they aren't evil anymore and the sales people are the most knowledgeable i've seen

Best Buy knows who D:apple:ddy is... They know who's keeping that company afloat and relevant in todays chaotic economy.
They wouldn't do anything to jeopardize a business relationship they NEED.
Again they know who D:apple:ddy is.
Yeah because before Apple came to Best Buy, Best Buy was in a lot of trouble.
Give me a break dude.

I checked next weeks circular on slickdeals.net and no mention of iPad2. I'm starting to think it would be better to buy it anywhere else. From what I remember it took about 2-3 months at most after the iPad 1 was announced that it became readily available.

Great commecial. Hey, anything that could conceivably light a fire under AT&T is a good thing. I used to have Verizon, and the reception in my house was perfect: I don't recall a single time when a call dropped. Then I bought the iPhone 3GS (which I love) and now I drop calls if I do the unthinkable and walk around the house a bit while I'm on the phone. I'm still happy to have the iPhone, considering how little I actually use the phone portion, but it would be nice if phone service was more reliable even for little ol' me.

Does anyone know if you have to go to a store to get the discounts? Can you order from the online Apple store? There's no way I'll be able to get to an Apple Store tomorrow.

Yes and Palm smartphones and Blackberries never existed before the iPhone.
They were "called" smart phones. But the iphone defined the direction the iphones of the future would take.

Sure BluRay has more capacity to this point BUT I've watched several things on both a Toshiba HD-DVD and a Samsung BR player and everytime I come away with the same impression - HD-DVD simply looks better. Same TV (a Samsung LCD). I've read several reviews in home theatre mags too - the general consensus seems to be (from what I have seen) that Samsung messed up and their player needs some work. Similarly - the HD-DVD camp seems to have picked better transfers for their premier discs which is helping them along.
Add to this that HD-DVD players are half to one third the cost of a BR player and all the "on-paper" advantages for BR are starting to disappear. I'm not surprised if Apple is hedging their bets....

The new pics posted by Khazov Denis are interesting, but it looks like the model number on the back is A1289, which would not be consistent with the current numbering:
A1203 - Original iPhone
A1241 - iPhone 3G
A1303 - iPhone 3GS
A1324 - iPhone 3G no WiFi (for China)
A1325 - iPhone 3GS no WiFi (for China)

Meh, overall I dont' agree with them taking out applications that allow for tethering. Yes it is against the "rules" but I also don't agree that I should be charged to spend the data I'm already paying for a different way than they intend for me to use it.
I have the Nexus 1 and luckily ATT has no direct control over the phone as it's sold through Google and I'm allowed to use the built in tethering application at no charge to me. I don't wirelessly tether often but it does come in handy when I'm in class and there's no wifi or when I'm out or riding in the car.

Sometimes I think, have a thought that is way out there, and I chuckle because it would be really bad to do it. Funny, HA HA, at someone's else's expensive.
But I don't do it.

You New York is New York, part of the USA.That's why I said local government... you have that in the US, too, you know...
Saying that you are small, rich and well educated... And then you even say, you are technologically advanced?
Have you been to Singapore, Kuwait, Japan? I can name a few more places, but let's keep the list short. No I haven't been to any of those places. But what has that to do with anything...?
Again, this is not a contest, and I didn't even say we were the most technological advanced population in the world, nor the richest.
Just that we as population in general are rich and technologically advanced. Or don't you agree with that?

I will still be extremely happy if the only thing he announces is 802.1x capability for the iPhone/touch. Maybe it will come in the form of the 1.1.3 update! But, on to other things:
Obviously a MacBook Air (stupid name)
Movie Rentals
I dont think a 3G iPhone announcement this early because then not many people would buy the phone until the 3G version actually comes out.
iPhone/touch SDK demo.
Finishes with a song by The Killers...:D
